Features
Nylas Basket and Grille: Both the speaker frame and grille are made of Nylas, a composite mix of Nylon and Fiberglass, providing strength and stability. The grilles are held in place by four screws, accessible under the mounting gasket, but the tweeter is mounted to the grille, so it should not be removed.
Rubber Spider: Durability is further improved by the rubber spider Wet Sounds developed for their marine speakers.
Tweeters: The tweeters are mounted to the grilles, rather than to a pole piece, thus there is no chance of water leaking through the woofer cone.
Speaker Terminals: A male 2-pin waterproof SuperSeal plug is on each speaker’s signal input wire, which connect to the included female SuperSeal harnesses.
Size: These speakers fit into the openings for standard 6½ and 6¾ speakers (standard car speaker sizes). Because the frame is bigger than a typical car speaker and the grille is not designed to be removed, they won’t fit in most car applications.
