Blind Spot Systems

Blind Spot Systems are using Ultrasonic, Doppler or Microwave sensors to detect moving objects (car, motorcycles or bicycles) in your blind spots of your side mirrors and rearview mirror. When the moving objects are approaching your car, it will alert you through sounds and optical signals depending on the situations so that the driver can avoid the object and make switch lanes action safer.

When the sensors mounted on both sides of your car rear (and front) bumper detect moving objects such as cars, motorcycles or bicycles entering your blind spot, the main controller will display warning signals through LED lights embedded in the side mirrors or A-pillar inside the car. At this moment if the car turn signal is switched on, the Blind Spot System will make alerting sounds.

 

The newly developed aftermarket Toppking® Blind Spot Systems (BSD) can take much of the strain off the driver and avoid hazardous situations by monitoring the area that is hard to see and warns the driver by audible beeps and the flashing LED lights.

It is easy for a driver to fail to spot a vehicle approaching from behind in the overtaking lane or a car situated in the blind spot next to your vehicle, particularly in heavy traffic on multi-lane freeways.

The Toppking® BSD can be activated once the engine is started, with an optional switch or by speed over 30 km/h trough OBD communication.
