It’s still rewarding to go from the fuzzy crackly sound of old factory speakers to bright and present sound. With strong power handling and trickle-down architecture elements from competition-level audio engineering, Hertz’s Uno Series car speakers make it possible.
Factory Replacements Speakers
This Hertz’s Uno Series K 165 6-1/2″ component speaker system uses a treated paper cone and foam surround for low-frequency greatness and a separate PEI dome tweeter with an optimized crossover for crisp lows, with aftermarket power up to 75 watts RMS. Hertz offers tweeter attachment options with a range of mounting sizes.

Tweeter Mounting: Brackets are included for flush mounting and angled surface mounting (60° or 30°) the tweeters. If surface mounting, holes for the mounting screws and wire will need to be drilled.

Crossovers: The high pass crossovers are wired in-line and attached to the tweeters. Each crossover’s diameter is approximately 3/8″ and the slope is 6 dB/octave. The woofers are not crossed over.
