Description
GRABBER APT
A strong and durable all-purpose GRABBER APT Terrain tire providing a competent all-terrain off-road capability, balanced with excellent on-road performance and designed for all weather conditions.
General Grabber APT Tire
The all-terrain General Grabber APT tire is designed for on- and off-road use and is used primarily in original vehicles like the Nissan Titan. This aggressive look pneumatic look has been engineered to have all-year-round flexibility for the various driving conditions.
Grabber APT tires provide capable off-road traction on most grounds with their innovative, aggressive tread style. We claim it most because the soft sand and mud seem to fight with this model.
M+S rated and featuring sipes around the tread surface, it delivers reliable performance on wet pavement or on snow and slush. Deep circumferential grooves add to wet traction and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Reviews from other drivers mention that the General APT is surprisingly quiet, considering they are LT tires.
General offers 18-inch LT and non-LT sizes in the Grabber APT, with E load ratings on LT sizes. A limited tread warranty is also provided.
Pros
- Excellent off-road performance in dirt, grass, and gravel
- Good stability on the highway
- Dry and wet traction
- Treadwear
Cons
- Struggles in soft terrains such as sand and mud
- Tires tend to get noisy as they wear down
Overview of GRABBER APT
There’s a lot to enjoy about the General APT tire of Grabber. It’s eye-catching and aggressive, will improve your lightweight truck, heavy-duty truck, or 4/4 car, but it is equally spectacular when tractioning in various driving conditions. These tires have found their performance even at road velocities and their wear is longer than those of their A/T counterparts. However, when they are used on snow, gravel, and rocky grounds, these tires are really their own. One of Grabber APT’s biggest inconveniences, though, is the reality that they will fight on harder ground, including sand and dumbness.
Overall, while this tire doesn’t rank with the top models in the AT class like the BFG T/A KO2, Cooper AT3, and many others, it’s not a bad option for those living on farms, in rural areas or on job sites.
