Is paint protection film on cars worth it?
If you want to keep your car looking as new as possible, you can wash it on a regular basis and even get a ceramic coating done, but if you want to go a step further, you can have it wrapped in paint protection film.
Can paint protection film be removed?
The film should only be removed by a certified installer. The removal method involves grabbing a corner and pulling the film up at a 90° angle. If the film has been on for a long time, a steamer or heat gun might be needed to warm up the adhesive on the other side in order to remove it.
Do modern cars need paint protection?
The answer is yes. New cars that don’t come from the factory already installed. Car Salon recommends you get a professional like us to install paint protection film, undercoating & rust check to ensure the longest possible life of your vehicle.
How much does it cost to get paint protection film?
Car Salon’s paint protection pricing starts at $350 for our basic package & can go up to $7,000 for an entire PPF Wrap.

How long does it take for Xpel to cure?
What is the cure time after installation? The time can vary depending on the surface that RX was applied to and climate conditions. For most surfaces, please allow 24-48 hours before heavy usage.
How soon can I wash my car after PPF?
Do not wash or wax your car for the first seven days after the PPF installation.
This is because the moisture between your car’s paint surface and the film is still evaporating and the film has not yet adhered to the surface well. Any disturbance may interfere with the curing process.
